textarea replacement that accepts graphics, pasting tables, etc.

Hello. Is there a control that can be placed on a web page form that would replace a TEXTAREA box with one that accepts graphics, tables from the clipboard, etc.? It would look much like the area I am typing into right now but would accept graphics and retain formatting for table pasting from XLS, etc.

About the best I've seen is tiny-mce but I doubt anything will preserve much coming out of Excel.
