Caldera is wanting more money I guess, trying to sue everyone available.

Just a thought of mine, Linux was originally going to be open source, while companies sees the opportunity in packaging for a price to gain profits. I am cool with it, but when they started this kinda BS, I am just hoping that everyone can just DROP SCO and turn to Red Hat, or FreeBSD.

I didn’t read it as they wanted MORE money, as they just want money for what they have done.

It also looks like their customer base are the types of places that would pay up! Mostly large business's and Gov't departments are at risk of being charged.

For end users like you moving to another distro is easy for the most part. That would be a job I just wouldn't want to do for a business!

What is interesting is they said that Microsoft doesn’t have a stake in Linux, which I think is completely wrong! They have a huge stake in what happens with Linux. As something that was suppose to be free and now it isn't
