I have recently been experiencing problems with Yahoo in that I started to get consistant Pop-Ups from Yahoo. Actually, I am in Yahoo Financewhen this occurs. Some of them show up in my title bar at the bottom of my page, but give no information except to close them, when I right click. Others popup with search engines or any type of advertising.

They occur sometimes when I click on anything, it seems random. The ads are from all types of different sources.

Can anybody tell me if I have a virus or what the hell is going on?

Thanks

You may have some sort of adware on your computer. Try scanning your comp with LavaSoft Ad-Aware to see if it picks anything up. You can download it from their website:

I love this program and scan my harddrive with it once a week or so. It mostly just finds cookies, but it also gets rid of Gator and the other annoying programs that find their way onto your computer one way or another...

Yes get adware it's the best!

I would also suggest getting Popki (http://ranfo.com/popki.html). It's a Popup killer, that only runs when you want. It's very flexable and it's FREE.
