I have a little problem, I'm having an article and it's written on a Mackintosh, and me I'm having Windows, and I'm seeing some strange symbols, what can I do, there is some functions to get rid of them? Please help me...tk's :confused:

There is no K in Macintosh
Ensure that the text editor or word processor that you are using is set to the appropriate character encoding, this may take some trial and error.

The problem didn't been the mac, was my mistake, someone write an article with Microsoft Word, and when I've put that article in DB...has some strange characters, specially for double quotes and "..." this are different, and because the browser doesn't recognize them..I see some strange characters,if someone nows a way to do this...some function to replace the double quotes from Word,with the usually double quotes,please tell me how :confused:

OK then it's still a character encoding issue, ensure that you are using unicode when you enter new data into the database, that the database is storing it as unicode, that your .php-or-whatever files are saved as unicode and that your server is serving up with unicode.
[replace unicode with character encoding standard of your choice]
