It's not an issue... yet :)
I'm buying a macBook in a couple of days.
I want to have a dual boot (I love Windows dearly... don't even ask why I buy a mac ^^), but I mainly want Win and Mac to love each other very much and to share everything, that includes files.
I read somewhere that I should create a partition for Windows, one for mac, and one for the files (could have guessed that without much difficulties). Obviously, shared partition has to be in FAT32, because Mac cannot write on NTFS, and windows cannot see the mac file system.
Somebody talked about using a Linux file format...
What I'd like to know is : has any of you tried dual boot with file sharing on a macbook ? Or do you know somebody who did it ?
Thanks for all suggestions !

I'm currently running a dual-boot MacBook on BootCamp and have managed to access my Mac OS Extended (HFS Plus) formated drive(s). Once you have windows up and running, download MacDrive 6 (http://www.mediafour.com/products/macdrive6/) and it shall allow you to access your OS X filesystem.

OK, great !
But can you access the NTFS files from Mac ?
I think you can read the files but not write to them...
Also, do you know if it's possible to install WIN XP Pro, without having the version with SP2 included ? My version is Win XP Pro, and SP2 is on another CD. I saw on the Bootcamp website that you need Win XP PRO SP2 in one disk.
Is that what you had or did you manage to do it with an older version of Win XP ?
Thanks for the macdrive anyway !
