All of a sudden the graphical side of Microsoft Office isn't showing up. I've attatched an image to futhur explain the situation. its Microsoft Office XP with Frontpage. You should notice immediately what's wrong. There are absoultly no graphics, except for the simple ones, showing up. Its strange.
I've tried contacting Microsoft, but nothing, And this forum has helped me out a lot.
Thanks for any help...

Hi glitchgirl
A few Questions,
1) What happens when you click on blank Database; do you get a screen pop up asking you to create a new db, or see your other db's that you have created in the past, they should be numbered or named?
2)When you go to File open , can you see the last project you have worked on?
3) What happens when you click on one of you files on your File panel on the right, can you access them?
4) Have you tried to customise or the repair function.
Awaiting your reply.

Celeste, its fully functional, I can do everything. All of office is having this 'graphical glitch'. I thought well maybe I should try re-installing. I did have 2003, but I upgraded it to XP last night. It had the same problem. So I did the detect and repair, still no 'graphic interface' then I ran Registry Booster by UniBlue, It fixed some bad registry files but no fix, so I ran Norton's WinDoctor, it couldn't find anything, except for this .dll 'msvcr80.dll'
I've attatched another photo of the absence of graphics and the list that Norton generated 'errors' with the above dll. Hopefully they help ..
Note *IE shrinks graphics, I'm sure you know what to do, but hover over the image and click the square icon that appears in the lower right corner.
Thanks in advance,
Jesi

I don't see any problems in the access screenshots you posted. Looks like you just need to set the display options you want.
As for the Norton report, I'm not at all convinced it is useful in this case. may have a look here (http://blogs.msdn.com/nikolad/archive/2006/06/28/WinDoctorErrors.aspx)
This thread (http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=15218&SiteID=1) may prove informative as well

you know what it was? I had my display settings in Media Center style, and I'm guessing that's what did it, because I put it back to XP style and everything looked fine. And here I thought I blew something up again 'hince the nickname Glitch' =].
[[ i can't believe it was that simple .. ]]

Hi glitchgirl,
Glad to see you sorted it out, I do apologize for my late reply in getting back to you on this matter.
But work is work.
When I looked at your second image that you posted , I knew straight away that the dll that was missing "msvcr80.dll" I knew it was not the one responsible, as that particular dll is mostly responsible in preventing installations of some software.
Any way all is well that ends well.
I did notice that particular dll was missing in more then one programs.
If you want the link to where to download that dll for free, please PM me.
In the mean time you may also want to use another free registry cleaner
"RegScrubXP".
Take care.
