Im just talking from the eye candy aspect but like how youve added the Amazon affiliate pages, but have started to see far too many axaj fade images (your gallery). Saying this im still sure the gallery would be appreciated by public viewers, ive just had a lot of requests for this lately.

Keep an eye on page hit locaitons, if more poeple start coming form US or EU locations you might make more by changing amazon.ca to amazon.com

And lastly does frontpagetemp2.jpg need to be an image

I like it except I don't like your use of courier font - that went out with typewriters - also I'm not sure if changing the colours helps much either - I think more consistant use of colours can add more meaning. Looking again I see you have a left border that matches the link color so perhaps I should withdraw the last comment. Maybe make the colours more from the same palette though - e.g. red to blue via purple.

Just my personal opinion (the stuff in the portfolio is v. good)

There's something about the color combination that I don't like (horizontal nav.) I think it's the use of pink. It just doesn't seem to go with those colors.

The site pages are very tiny on my large screen. You might consider using a fluid layout; not necessarily in order to fill the screen but to keep the page to whitespace ratio the same no matter the screen resolution.
