OK... I started this yesterday, so it is about 26-28 hours old, and I would like to know what you guys think of it.

Nothing wrong with it, just could do with some design - graphics etc - something to make it stand out and memorable

No offense, but it looks like its "26-28 hours old." As zingmatter recommended, some sort of design might make the page more inviting.

Not only was the CSS/HTML done in that 26-28 hours, so was all the MySQL/PHP.

Right now I am having issues with the popular seection. (Fixed Decided to use a table)

The content is good -- the site, though, just doesn't look like it has been thought through, like it's not a finished product for publicizing.

is it because of the useage of colors that I use?

I guess it's the lack of graphics, a "real" logo, and a "theme."
It sort of looks like something I'd mark up (yeah - right, like I know SQL! :p) for my personal use, located on my PC, rather than a marketable website.

It doesn't really have the "look" of other PHP sites, such as PHP Freaks (http://www.phpfreaks.com/).

I think it's easy to use and the code is clear. I would like to see some explanations in the code snippets like an about text. The title don't necessarily tell what the code does and I don't want to figure it out by studying the code itself.

That does make it look better.

I agree with Mania, too, about the explanations. That might add more content to your page, so it looks "busier."
