A type of drop down menu

Hi Everyone! I'm new so if this has been posted before, please don't be mad at me.. I read through some previous postings and didn't see it.

I'm trying to make a drop down menu like the one seen here:

The one up at the top, with dark gray boxes. It doesn't have to do all the scattering effects, I just want to do the drop down box effect.

Can anyone help? I'm like a beginner at html so I am so lost it's not funny.
