automatically sending a file after someone submits my form

I need to do the following:

Once someone hits the Send button after filling out my form, I need to have a doc automatically and immediately sent the them.

Any ideas how I can do that?

Find an email library for whatever you're programming your server side with. I know they're readily available for ASP, PHP, Java and Perl.
