How to make sidebar length hit the footer?

Hi all,

I'm a beginner blogger who seeks the HTML code I should insert to make my sidebar's background the same length as the main wrapper.

Right now, I have more posts than sidebar, so how do I make it all look like a perfect, filled-in rectangle, where both hit the footer?

This is actually a CSS issue... You might look into what is called faux-columns (http://alistapart.com/articles/fauxcolumns/). Hope that helps. ;)
