Hello, is Safari only for Mac computers? Also, anyone know where its download is? Can't seem to find it. Thank you very much.

Yes, Safari is only available for the MacOS. You can download it at www.apple.com, but if you have a Macintosh computer you'll get auto updates for the browser. Also if you own a mac, check out Webkit at www.webkit.org -- it's the open source version of Safari that all future versions of Safari will be based on.

Apple has done with Safari a lot what Netscape did with their browser. They released much of the source code to an open source project. Safari currently uses a rendering engine called KHTML. The Webkit browser will use a rendering engine called Webkit, and once Webkit is ready for release, all subsequent Safari versions will use the Webkit rendering engine.

Thanks for the great answer. I was hoping to find a way to view my web pages through safari to make sure they view ok, since safari is such a popular browser as well. Anyone know of a way? I don't have a Mac, I have a standard computer with windows xp.
