I have .sit file posted for download. They are on the server as .sit file, however, when I click the link to download, Explorer wants to save it as a .sas file...which, consequently, will not open - I get an error. If I manually go in and make the extension .sit it will download and open fine. Using Stuffit Deluxe 9.0 for Windows. Is there some setting that will correct this?
Thanks.

Internet Explorer has a nasty habit of ignoring mime types of files, and instead relies on the file extension. If you want IE to save as .sit, you'll have to name them as *.sit files.
