Can I create a Forum using JavaScript? If yes, can u tell me how?

im pretty sure forums can only be made with an ss lang.....

becuz, in order to maintain a forum, you must have the data inputted stored...in which i dont believe javascript can do....

but.....http://www.proboards.com offers some pretty neat free forums
