Hello, we've soft-launched a new Australian cruise website - www.cleancruising.com.au - that I'm keen to get some feedback on. It's designed for a 1024 screen and it's the first site we've built that uses css for layout. Here's some specific aspects I'm unsure about...

* Did the Google map load fine?
* Did the "Virtual Voyage" play fine? It's in flash 8, progressive download.
* Is the search process easy to use? Search > Select result > View itinerary > Complete form
* Is the message on the homepage easy to understand?

thanks a bunch

All is working fine and it looks great. You are on the right track IMO.

However, most sites function properly in my browser since I dont run all of those retarded blockers and stoppers etc. so I am not a good baseline of a regular user I found out but your controls work fine on my end. :)

- The page is much too busy. The overuse use of blue makes it hard to find a reading "starting point."
- You've designed this for 1024x768 -- what about the 800x600 res. user?
- the Virtual Voyage was OK -- some spots the panning was jagged; I don't know if that's due to the connection or just a problem with the development of the flash
- search worked for me
- the hp message doesn't make much sense:
When you book your cruise with Clean Cruising, we pay for Australian native trees to be planted on your behalf.
you might change it to:
"One of the benefits of booking a cruise with Clean Cruising is that we're an environmentally-friendly company. Each time you book a cruise with us, we, in turn, fund the planting of trees. These trees offset the greenhouse gas emissions generated by your voyage. For example, planting six trees per person will absorb the emissions for a typical 10 night cruise. It costs you no more, we do all the work and the world will be a little bit greener!"

Not bad at all! Maybe a bit crowded in some areas of destinations but this is a content-heavy requirement. Nice use of 'white space' (no distracting background, etc). Very nice 'virtual tour' and I am using many 'blocker' software and got no warnings or visibly blocked content. I use 1024 res., so it looked fine for me. At 800, a horizontal scrollbar would be my only complaint but small one that it is.
-Sites makes me want to book a cruise! :D

After an initial scan through the pages, I really couldn't see/hear any accessibility problems with this site. There are a few minor issues.
The site structure should be improved, it doesn't make you wanna click any further. The structure should be made by colors, size or order.Personally I am not that qualified to comment but I can give you a suggestion to the best of my knowledge that may be some qualitative web designer shall provide you the necessary productive feedback.
I know one: www.webdesigningcompany.net (www.webdesigningcompany.net)Rest is all upto you.It doesn't mean that this is the only company I recommend ,but frankly that's the only name that I know that better quality wise.
