Perhaps this is naughty and I’m going to burn in search-engine hell for it but I’m wondering if I can use a 302 redirect to boost my ratings by adding a page only to be read by spiders.
Example: Let’s say I make a page called "headings.html" and on this page I fill the body with heading tags containing all the words I want to be found under (same words as my keywords). Then in my .htaccess file I use a 302 redirect from the page "headings.html" to my index page. Will the spiders still read the headings page?
I wouldn’t be considering such an underhanded trick if the spiders would actually pick up on my keywords and content. To date, the only way I can find myself in the listings is by title and url.
