Hi, i've just redone our company website and was wondering if i can get an idea of others perspectives on it. Any comments/critiques welcome as I am always looking to improve myself and the site :-)

Looks nice.

I don't understand why there is code (divs, iframes and others) before the doctype of the page??

Some of the code is in to redirect, but there is stuff there that could be moved down into the body. Nice call.

To add onto my other post, try to validate (http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.hardware.com%2F) it. 3748 errors! The most I have EVER seen!

I will definately get round to it, fortunately they all seem to be comment errors so not too critical, but i have a lot of code tidying that needs doing soon, so will try to address everything at once :-)
any other comments?

Technical comment. I'm not sure how this is working on your site, but by the look of the 34987459873498374 comments at the beginning of your page, I can't imagine too efficiently. Did you have a look at http://www.ip2location.com/ or are you using something similar?

Looks good, I like it. I don't exactly understand why 'Your Account', 'Contact Us', and 'Help' buttons in the top right are red, while 'View Basket' is green. That's maybe just me....who knows. :P

you'll be glad to know i've been working on the validation errors and so far i've got them down to 247. Thanks very much for all your comments.
mak - the view basket is a different colour in a blatent attempt to draw peoples eye to it and try to get more sales :-)
You've all been very helpful and i really appreciate it.
I'll let you know once all the validation erros are sorted.
if you have any other comments or anyone else wants to jump in and add anything i'd appreciate it.
