I was wondering whether its possible to change the date format in sql. It seems to default to mm/dd/yyyy I'd like to change it to dd/mm/yy if possible. Also how can i insert the current date into a record?

Oh and.. is it possible to hide a password field to anyone accessing hte database. encrypting it i guess. like wiht access when you can set the field type to password and it stores it as stars.
