Please, I am on my hands and knees at this question. Does somebody know how I can view and recover deleted files? I used to have software that let me go into the NTFS system and change clusters and files, but I can't find it.
I will travel to the end of the universe to find this software. We have some missing photos, I had them on my laptop and I deleted the folder by mistake.
Please can somebody help me, I will be so grateful!!!

If you didn't use Shift+Delete or clean your Recycle Bin, then there's a good chance the folder and photos are still in the Recycle Bin on your PC.

Hehe thanks for the advice. I know how to work the Recycle Bin, I use computers alot.
Files, even when deleted from view of the user, are still on the Hard Disk. I'm after software to recover it from the Hard Disk, not the Recycle Bin.

two tools i use are:
Handy recovery, recovers off virtually any drive, even damaged ones although can be a bit tedious:

File recover, easiest one to use and very simple and quick. It will recover accidentally deleted files:

And two or three freeware versions ... i havnt tried any of these freeware ones out so i cant comment personally but one of them should do the job as well .. let us know which you prefer if you choose the freeware route:
