Hello, I'm currently building a DollMaker for my webpage which you can find at
http://www.moon-catcher.com/dollz

Now while the Drag and Drop script is simple enough, as you can see I have a TON of props, and it requires quite a lot of scrolling. I would like to develop a set of "drawers" for the props that will work much like pull down menus, so that props can be pulled out of the drawers and onto a work area.

I'm not a programmer, and Javascript completely baffles me. :confused: I attempted to do this myself, and the result was this:

As you can see, I can't drag the img out of the menu! :(

If anyone can help me around this problem, I would greatly appreciate it! I'll put credits and whatnot, my only condition is that the result is easily editable so that I can continue to add more drawers and more props.

Reply here, PM or Email me if you're interested in helping out. Thanks!

give the z-index property with a highr number then that of the body images and yourproblem should be solved.
E.g

if the body images has a z-index:1;
then wings should have

z-index2
etc.

Higher the z-index property will force the browser to paint the element on top of the other elements

Nope, that didn't work...The images are still only draggable within the menus.

There is a page I know of that has a way of double clicking on images and they load in the workarea, but her code is full of %20%7d%3b stuff that I'm just like Wha?:confused:

I understand the fact that she doesn't want anyone stealing her code (she has a usable version, but the code's still the same and you can't really edit the layout).

Am debating buying a JavaScript for Dummies book...
