I'm very new to this, so sorry if this is dumb....but I recently registered a domain name for a business I'm starting. Now I'm not sure what I do next. I guess I need to find a web host and then somehow have the registred name point to my webpage on the host's sever, right? Any tips on finding a host? They all offer different stuff. All I know for sure is that I want a CGI bin and it needs to be big enough for lots of pictures (although I'm not entirely sure just how big this is).

Thanks in advance,
jinx

For a host, you could try look at dr2.net (http://www.dr2.net). Dr2 is extremely reasonable and has a lot of really nice services...

get a hosting service, once you have that,Get the DNS information from your hosting company..its usually of this format.
DNS1.somecompany.com

then go to the site where you bought your domain name, enter the control panel to update your info and update the DNS entries.
By defaul they should point to the DNS's of the company where u bought your domain name.

Yes, that's about the jist of what you need to do. I personally register my domains at godaddy (http://www.godaddy.com), and then host them at dr2 (http://www.dr2.net). For me, it is very important that the server supports PHP, as that is my server side language of choice (and the only way to fly...). :D
