Very new to this lark I'm afraid so go easy on me...editing a community village website and I only have the body text to play around with. We were given a site editor to upload images and text with - so I'm very restricted to what I can achieve. Just added a table to one article and instead of the table appearing at the top of the article, there's just one long space and you have to scroll down an empty screen to get to the table at the bottom.
Check out http://www.horburyvillage.com/artman/publish/article_103.shtml to see the problem.
Any ideas? Could someone unscramble the page source code to figure out what's going on?

Get rid of all the <br /> in your telephone table you don't need them, you are wasting space. The table tags <tr><td> are theoretically new lines

Yep. About 30 (exageration?) line breaks will do that to you.

My article editor has an auto format function that thanks to the designers I now know how to turn on and off. This was the reason for all the <br> ...and yup, 30 of them should just about break me into a frustrated tantrum. So yesterday I was  but today thanks to the support here and from my design team I am once again :) ....but also slightly :o
Told you I was new at this. Not played with smilies since uni.
