hi,
I want to create this rounded navigation bar as like the silver thing at top of page in this website. I mentioned it elsewhere but didn't ask this question.

Do I create this as 1 graphic or 4 corners and a 1 pixel width grahic to be repeated over the buttons.
I don't know which way?

If you don't need the width of the navigation bar to be dynamic, then a single graphic is easy to implement as per my reply to your other post. If the height is to be static, but the width varies, then the graphic can be the 1 pixel wide one you suggested above, plus two end graphics - but then you require additional elements to attach the graphics to. Variable height and width would require the corner graphics and gets complex with nested and positioned elements holding the graphics, but can be done. In the example link above, a single static image is all that is required.

Thanks for the info,
I couldn't image a dynamic graphic with width and height as it seems to make a simple thing complicated.
I know how to do a rounded corner with a graphic that has been split up ( it is a bit of messing around and is quicker to just do as size required). Also in gimp you can scale the graphic making it not so hard to resize provided it looks ok.
