Hi all,

how can i make user specific working folder if i have more than one developer?

Is it possible for more than one users to work on the checked out file in their respective working folder?

Yes, more than one user can open a file at any given time, but source safe is going to pitch a fit, that is what it is supposed to do. Only one user will be allowed to actually have the file checked out at any given time. If one user checks it out, and another user wants to work on it two, the first user will have to check his copy in before the second user can check his out, so the second user who is modifying it will not be able to check in his changes without first picking up the changes from the first user, all he will be able to do is save a local copy. Are you using active directory by any chance along side of source safe? Usually we just have users in groups in AD, then give an AD group rights to a source safe server or source safe directory.
