How can i put various wallpapers on my site that visitors may d-load?

Put them up as the images, and have them right click, save as or put them in a .zip file that they can download...

I was thinking more along the lines of having the ones that fit various screen sizes etc. like 800x600 or do i just have to make the image that size, thumbnail the one on the page and have them right click from that?

Yeah, most places just have links to download each resolution...

Just resize it to 800 by 600 1024 by 786 etc etc in a photo editor like paint shop pro or adobe photshop, if you dont have eather of those use another photo editor if necessary use paint. Also make a 100 by 100 (or some other small size) for a thumbanial so a user doesnt have to load a large image, then use a link so they can view and save it at different resolutions. They dont weven have to download it if they are using ie just tell them to right click and go to set as desktop background.
