Layout fails in IE7, works in FF, IE6, Safari

Good afternoon!

I'm still trudging along my page:

I've hacked around (I know it's bad, and suggestions on how to do this "right" are GREATLY appreciated) and the layout works in IE6, FF, and Safari.

However, IE7 screws everything up. Can anyone help me?

Try adding float:left; in your #main_content container
