Okay, well maybe it's not so dumb, but I feel dumb not knowing. I want to use WISE-FTP 3.0 to upload a website to Cox Webhosting, but I don't know what info I need to enter, like PROFILE NAME, HOST NAME, PORT, USER NAME, PASSWORD & ETC.. Can someone explain to me how to do this?

Because these will be sensitive information it would be best for you to get the tech support at Cox to explain it.
Profile name: you just make it up
Host: what Cox tells you to use
Port: standard for FTP so just leave it blank
User/pass: your id/pass for your Cox account

Thank you ray326. I have already contacted Cox and the guy I spoke with was not familiar with WISE-FTP 3.0. Guess I'll have to try again and hopefully get someone who is familiar with it.

I'm not familiar with it either but all the GUI FTP clients work about the same.

Log on to the Control Panel of your hosting service, you will find account for FTP access. Usually, your FTP access account has all these credential info for you. The FTP username and password are usually different from Customer username and password for Control Panel.
Profile name:
Host: usually yourdomain.com
Port: standard for FTP
Username: FTP usename
Password: FTP password
good luck!

Thanks mynetworksolut........ I was finally able to get WISE-FTP 3.0 to work yesterday. I appreciate your help anyway. Guess I should've posted to say so.
