disc problem

hey i just got a new mobo and i am bulding my computer from ground zero and up but the thing is that i plug everything in and all its doing is when you hit the eject button it comes out just a littlebit and gos right back and you won't read the disc i put in the dvd drive

Its stuck. Straighten out a paperclip and push it in the small hole in the front of the drive (when the computer is turned off) and it will eject the drive.

well i did one better and went out to office depto and bought a new dvd drive(litescribe) and it work just fine now i got vista up and running but now my wireless card does not wont to work with vista and yet its compatible with the new progroam do you have any sug. abought that because i will return the dvd drive once i have internet because i have a lap top that i can but a file tranfers on andd every thing will work fine but i need my internet please help and quickly post
