An MP3 player that stays put

I'm looking to develop a page that has an embedded mp3 player that continuously plays no matter what navigation the user clicks on, without interruption unless of course the user mutes it or stops it.

Or I guess a better question, how do I make a small section of the page navigational (without ugly HTML frames) while keeping the said mp3 playing away?
