Sorry I am having a bit of a brain fart today.

I am trying to create a page with a link to a video on my site. I do NOT want the video to start when the user clicks on the link. I want the user to have the poption to open or save the file first when they click on the link. I know they can right click and "Save Target As.." but doe anyone know how I can set it up so when they click the text link, the open or save as options will appear?

Thanks

You might ZIP the video with the link labelled "Save Video". Another link can then be used to view video instead. With the usual file extensions for videos/audios, a user's media player will open and play when the link is clicked. Zipping will help with the download, especially on large videos.

Why not just make it two links: "download" and "play"?

Didn't I say that in post #2? Letting me type sometimes is an exercise in frustration. :p
