I was working in dreamweaver, just doing my regular stuff when--

Dreamweaver 8 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I installed the 8.0.2 update, but nothing doing.

Is there anything I can do before I try to reinstall the whole damn thing?

first I would run something like Ccleaner... and then there is a pref's file in your application data folder. Delete that.

Also if you look at your administrative logs it should say something about why it closed.

Are you having any other issues with your PC besides this?

here is the complete article on how to delete that pref's file.
