All,
It's been quite a while since I've been here: perhaps two years or so. I used to be the Moderator for the JavaScript section for those that recall. Indeed, I faded out from this place rather slowly and then just stopped visiting. However, that is not to say that my interest for Web Standards (W3C) & Accessibility (WCAG), among other Web- and technology-related things have diminished. Quite far from it, in fact, although I have expanded my horizons and have gotten into Sports Nutrition and related subjects which have taken a lot of my time away from focusing on Web-related things. Outside of that, a lot of things have changed in my life over the past couple years as they sometimes do, and as we all know life can just "get in the way" sometimes. It was more than that even, however... I felt this industry was getting far too repetitive and in a way, stagnant. Hopefully, this has changed since I've been gone.
In any case, all this really translates to, is that I want to let everyone know how I am doing and that I genuinely miss the people and this place around here. I miss being focused on Web & Software Development, as this is where I feel I belong and what I want to do with my life (re: for a living).
I look forward to helping out around here and getting back into the community. It's just been too long.
Hopefully some of my "old-time" friends are still here: Vladdy, Buntine, Ryan, Jeff, PeOfEo, Robert, et. al... and anyone else I may have forgot.
