Confused about $info or $query

Sorry if this is just a stupid stupid question, i notice on SQl Queries sometimes people use $info sometimes they use $query, is there a reason for this or is it pure preference?

Are you developing in PHP? If so, the name of the variable is indeed just pure preference.

You may well call a variable $noodles_of_doom, but I generally would not recommend it! :)
