Hi Guys,
Im just creating some graphics in photoshop for a site in dreamweaver.
My problem is i want to make sure that the back grounds that i create for the graphics are the same as the background colour in dreamweaver.

When i copy my websafe colour from dreamweaver into my photoshop pallet for example #CC0000 , it come out bright green when it should be a dark shade of red.

photoshop is set to rgb, how do i set up my pallet so its the same as dreamweaver?

thanks for any help

Aidan

You need to change the pallette to hex colors then it will be the same.

thanks roondog, i looked up hex in photoshops help and it says...

(Photoshop) Choose Palette Options from the palette menu. Under First Color Readout or Second Color Readout, choose Web Color from the Mode menu and click OK.
Position the pointer over the color you want to view hexadecimal values for.

Where abouts is the pallet menu? is it in the colour menu?

Have a look here (http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/photoshop/ig/The-Photoshop-CS2-Workspace/palettemenu.htm) tells you all about it with pictures.
