I have 2 questions:

1) I saw a site that had the background image stay in place while you could scroll down the text on the page, without the background moving with it, how do I do something like this?

2) I have some thumbnails for pictures on my site, but I cannot seem to space them out more than just one space, how can I do this to have more spaces between the thumbnails?

Thanks

Try this for the fixed background:

<body bgproperties="fixed" background="URL of your background image here" bgcolor="#000000" onload="if (self != top) top.location=self.location">

As for the thumbnails, you should try putting the images into their own div's. This way it'd be a lot easier to adjust the layout.

Can you provide a URL to your site, it'd be quicker to figure out that way.

Your enter roll over is a little...messed up, one of the images has a darker background color then the other one. Also those are some scary pictures you have on that site... Giving me the heeby jeebys.

You acheived it lol. How about a new host? Geocities is not very professional with the ads and what not, they also dont support any server side languages if you ever intend to use one that is. www.brinkster.com is free no ads some with www.freewebs.com both only allow 16.7 meg about per day but that will be plenty for you I am assuming. They also both support some server side language, brinkster supports asp and asp.net freewebs supports perl and php.

Try it by removing this part
onload="if (self != top) top.location=self.location"

I half-tested it and it appeared to have worked
