I'm new to this forum... I thought I could get what seemed like a relatively easy answer (easy for someone who does this all the tme...I'm also new to site design) to a question I had.

However, it seems like no one is interested. I see certain people in these forums getting hundreds of views and lots of answers...Can someone please show me the secret handshake?

Seriously though...maybe I posted my question in the wrong thread. If I'm doing something wrong thats preventing me from getting answered....please let me know. I just need a little help

Thanks

No handshake required. Sometimes it comes down to how the question is worded or if the thread title catches the eye or sounds intriguing. With over 142,022 posts you need to stand out sometimes.

Also helps if you don't post the same question on 4 different threads.

54 68 65 42 65 61 72 4D 61 79

For me, it depends on how the question is asked and the scope of the issue.

If someone comes here and says "How do I write a Shopping Cart, LOLZ!1!!" I just completely ignore it. People also come here expecting us to do the work for them. I know of a few people who have been coming here for YEARS asking questions that they could answer themselves if they just put some effort into learning the language!

Just be brief and to the point! And remember we are all here voluntarily and have no obligation to help anyone!
