bit ofa noob question, but need some help

I have built my webpage and posted it to my site
my question is simple, on going to my site www.blahbal.co.uk
i get a advert screen of my provider, although my homepage is home.html
how would i setup my link when typin in www.blahblah.co.uk it opens
www.blahblah.co.uk/home.html

You'd be better off renaming home.html to index.html. Most servers (Unix or Windows) are configured to call up index.html first in any directory, which would then solve your problem.
