I have a file on my computer that is a .email file and I dont know how to view my letter. Do I use a special program?

All I get is code and nothing else.

I also tried Word 98, IE, and Wordpad to open it, no luck.

Some where in that code you should be able to find something that looks like a name of a program.

May I ask how you came to get the file? perhaps that would key me in on what program saves .email... my google search came up with nothing useful.

I got the file from a friend who uses AOL as their internet provider. I'll start looking for a program name soon.

My Mom sends me e-mails and they come with .email attachments. I believe it only happens when it's a forward. She uses MSN8. I usually open it in some sort of text editor, and that works fine.
