I'd like to figure out how to use proxies to gain access to internet TV channels that operate a country block.

I've tried using regular free proxies and using them in my browser but it doesn't seem to work.

Here are two examples that I'd like to get working outside the US:
http://www.tvland.com/video/
http://streaming.myfoxny.com/24/index.html

If anyone could figure a simple way of doing this I'd be extremely grateful...

Wouldn't this be illegal? They will be blocked for a reason... plus it's not too hard to figure out how to do it ;)

Whether its illegal or not depends what country you are in, its a bit like file sharing.

Since you know how to do it would you like to share?

Connecting your browser through US proxies does not seem to work, nor does using Proxy surf websites that use US proxies.

All you can do is find proxies for that content that are hosted in unblocked parts of the world. I personally don't know how you would go about discovering those proxies.
