Hello,

I've been commissioned to piece together a shopping cart site for a drumming store in the locality. These guys have been good to me, and really want to make the site a success for them.

As payment for my time on this project, software and a training course with Actinic ECommerce was the trade. Allowing me to develop shopping carts, powered by Actinic in the future.

As far as it goes, i'm not supposed to working on this project for another month or so.....but I drew a layout none the less to get a head start.

Please review it

All critique would be appreciated.

Thanking you in advance.

Looking good.

I would add a little more space between each shopping cart element though. They seem a tad too close to each other.

I just re-read my comment and it's not clear what I meant.

I meant to say that the design would benefit from more space in between each product. The products all kind of run together as it is.

The site does look credible, and it looks easy to use. I think you can accomplish a "comfortable" feeling if you were to give the products a little more breathing room. It's clean and if the site had something I wanted, I wouldn't hesitate to go through with the purchase.

Hey twissler,

I havent been on web dev for a long while - but seeing a recent addition to this thread, it would only be courteous to reply.

Thank you for the positive input. I am on my way to this training course in London tomorrow and hopefully with that under my belt, the design can then be created with full funcitonality.

It's excellent that you said you wouldn't turn away from a purchase on this site, tbh it's not something I was expecting but it means alot knowing that. It's also great being able to take this thread to the client to get some neutral advice away from the product itself.

So thank you again, that's just dandy.

All the best and maybe we will meet on some other thread.
