editing flash template

Q #1: :confused: A client of mine purchased a full flash template, i have made just about all the edits, however, I am having problems edting the menu--currently it shows as six layers saying 'home', I try to edit one layer and when I edit the text all 6 layers update with the same word. What am I doing wrong?

Q #2: client also wants a database in which a page is password protected, he enters in the information he wants, saves, then the main page for the public automatically updates with what he has inputted. I have done this before but not from a pre-created template. Any words of wisdom?

A1 --> you have to duplicate the symbol first to be able to change the text that is in an MC, right click on the MC that has the text you wanna change, choose "duplicate symbol" then give it another name, after that any changes you make to the new MC won't effect the other ones.

A2 --> look up for help on MySql and Php for that ...
