Hey. I created a web gallery using ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS2.

It generated the code 4 me and I uploaded it to my site.

This is how it appears:

http://www.s0-caprici0us.org/shadyzone/blends.html

why don't the images appear?

how do I overcome this problem?

I think the first thing is to verify the paths to your images. This is what I see as your paths
http://www.s0-caprici0us.org/shadyzone/Avril%20Lavigne%20sig.htm.htm_dataAvril%20Lavigne%20sig.jpg
http://www.s0-caprici0us.org/shadyzone/Avril%20Lavigne%20sig.htm.htm_datads_bot.gif

sticks464 >>>

do u mean rename them so that there r no spaces in the filename?

WebJoel >>>>

I don't know why .htm is repeated  any ideas in how I could solve the problem? Or will renaming the files so they have no spaces solve it?

I'm thinking of renaming them..so they have no spaces and then re-doing the whole gallery again.

will that do the trick?

What sticks is getting at is that your images are NOT on the server in the locations pointed to - maybe only the html got uploaded and not the graphics themselves?

What I would do is create a folder and place all my images in that folder (you can name it images). Upload said folder into root folder of the site and make your paths reflect that folder location. ie. <img src= "images/your image name.jpg" />. I would also remove any spaces within the graphics name and replace with either a dash or an underscore. Personally it is much easier to enter the necessary html to control the images then it is to use photoshops rendition or any other programs generated code. Much easier to learn and control how the page is rendered.
Just an added note: Photoshop didn't do you any favors by adding the 3 file extensions of htm to the code. All of those need to be removed.

28. http://www.s0-caprici0us.org/shadyzone/pic.jpg
29. http://www.s0-caprici0us.org/shadyzone/pic.jpg

This is the only correct path for one image since image is showing:

http://www.s0-caprici0us.org/shadyzone/joannakrupa.jpg

Since this part is the same in all ( http://www.s0-caprici0us.org/shadyzone/ ), you more than likely have your images named incorrectly,i.e., something like this: %20celinajaitley3.jpg. Double check file names in folder and correct. You should be good to go then.

If all the files in folder shadyzone are named correctly, they should show. You have at least 14 named pic.jpg in one folder??? There has to be something different in each name to have a same named imaged in one folder 14 times. You also have mixed uppercase names with lowercase.

There may be hidden spaces you haven't noticed depending on how your images were uploaded. SmartFTP will upload an image with spaces without inserting '%20' as a space. If I have my path listed for an image without the space, it will not load because the image name actually has a space in in somewhere. My FTP app allows me set all files to lowercase on upload so I know that part is always correct.

Any image not showing on my site is an error on my part in some way. As suggested, do not let another app name your files, but name them in the normal convention that you use in the path(s) for each.

For example, your thumbnail of image one is 'Src=%20celinajaitley3.jpg', but the enlarged image after click is 'celinajaitleysig.jpg'. Why not name the thumbs all in lowercase (and all images in lower case no spaces) prefixed by thm_imagename.jpg or whatever you chose? None of your pic1.jpg open on click. Get a 404. Each of these have to have a different name and you need to make sure path to enlarged images is correct to photobucket. Guess tese are unfinished until you get others working.

Is there any possibility that the extention is of case?

"image.JPG" is not the same as "image.jpg" and while this will work for IE, it seems to fail whenever I have used client's image so-named, and tried to view uploaded-to-web site in Firefox.

That's what I have been trying to get across about the image file names with one example given using some uppercase, others using lowercase and some using possibly hidden spaces. Maybe a thorough check of each one will get it working for both thumbs and original images.
