setting a local Mysql

i am using this :http://robouk.mchost.com/tuts/tutorial.php?tutorial=server4: tutorial to load a local Mysql server but when i get to part 6 you have to use your command thing to do it but when i type C:\ or anything it says

'what i type' is not recognized as a internal or external command, operable program or batch file.


so what do i do?

you probably need to cd to the following folder
mysql\bin

or need to set the environment variables so that the system can recognise the command you typecan

i could but i would not understand it
