Blog suspended

I've been using wordpress.com's blog for a year or so. but when i accessed it yesterday, it seems the blog has been suspended. Atleast no sort of message was conveyed to me. Can i know the reason for the suspension? I have totally lost all my important data.

Can anyone recommend a good alternative. Is affiliate links allowed in blogspot ?

Based on the flood of spam from blogspot users, I conclude they have no rules or any terms of service whatsoever.

But if you are going to be using affiliate links to promote your type of business, you might consider hosting it yourself to be on the safe side. Maybe blogspot will catch on and update their TOS

Well.. i suggest to just buy hosting from something like 1and1 and host it yourself. then you have control over everything.
