link problem???

Hi!

I have a problem with my site of articles....i check my php database everything is set ok and info under the right category....i open the web main page i click the lists of authors it works ok...it give me the list ....but when i open the category and the article itself it doesn't want to work....but the source of the articles are there...the category and the article have a dot html extension...and all the article information are stored in a php database....can anybody help me or give me some ideas what could be the problem?....

Yes, the link seems to be there, I can see the address on the address bar of windows explorer, but the page open the results is: "The page cannot be found The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."

I have to clarify I am working on a SQL database, not a PHP.....sorry
