I have no idea why, but my computer won't let me go to right click>view source. It's not just on one website, it's all of them. I can do it on other computers in my house on the same websites. How can I fix this?

It's not just on one website, it's all of them. I can do it on other computers in my house on the same websites. How can I fix this? PeOfEo 08-05-2003, 06:28 PM what browser and version are you using, also what is your operating system. pyro 08-05-2003, 10:57 PM If you are using IE, it is a know problem: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;q306907 To fix: From http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;q306907 To resolve this issue, delete all of the files in the Temporary Internet Files folder. To do this, follow these steps: 1. Start Internet Explorer. 2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options. 3. Under Temporary Internet files, click Delete Files. 4. When the confirmation message appears, click OK two times. PinkxXxPenguin 08-09-2003, 09:54 AM I'm using IE on Windows 2000 pyro 08-09-2003, 05:35 PM Did that fix the problem? PinkxXxPenguin 08-11-2003, 12:15 AM Yes, thank you very much! pyro 08-11-2003, 06:51 AM You bet... :) Paul Jr 12-12-2003, 12:26 AM This may sound a bit odd, but how exactly would one go about clicking OK two times? fredmv 12-12-2003, 12:38 AM Originally posted by Paul Jr how exactly would one go about clicking OK two times? I would imagine there's two windows that both contain an OK button. Anyway, good that you solved your problem, but there's still one huge problem — you're running IE. I'd suggest installing the best browser (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firebird/), bar none. ;) pyro 12-12-2003, 07:06 AM Gee, let's revive a 4 month old thread to ask how one could click ok twice. As fredmv suggested, you do have to click it twice. The first is to confirm that you want to delete the files, and the second is on the internet options box. Also - I agree about Firebird. It's been my browser of choice for a few months (since 0.6). AdamBrill 12-12-2003, 12:50 PM Originally posted by fredmv but there's still one huge problem — you're running IE. It's not a problem, it's a personal preference. Paul Jr 12-12-2003, 01:53 PM Yeah, sorry 'bout opening this 4 month old thread, but for the life of me I could not figure out how to click OK twice! :D Yes, I realize the whole evil IE thing, but for some reason I like it. It's simple, there's no annoying crap all over the place. It's a browser, pure and simple. I just finished downloading Opera, and I think I've fallen in love. So... I might ditch IE and use it only for testing purposes. PeOfEo 12-14-2003, 11:22 AM pfft opera... mozilla firebird is my browser of choice. It loads fast, like ie, it has a simple layout, like ie, but advanced features. You can have tabbed viewing, it blocked popups, disable java script on the fly, and more. Plus I have a cool web dev tool bar with validator buttons on it so I can quickly validate pages! Firebird is a manly browser. I will not stop the plugging until you give in and download it! Or until I get told to stop the adverstising by a super moderator or adminstrator  ====================== DOWNLOAD IT HERE ________________________ win 32 (http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firebird/releases/0.7/MozillaFirebird-0.7-win32.zip) 6187kb Linux (http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firebird/releases/0.7/MozillaFirebird-0.7-i686-pc-linux-gnu.tar.gz) 9287kb Mac OS X (http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firebird/releases/0.7.1/firebird-0.7.1-mac.dmg.gz) 9134kb ====================== webdeveloper.com
