You'll have to be more specific than that. What problems are you experiencing?

I want the gallery to look like the one on this site -
http://www.wild-about.com/ (go to the flowers page and click on any of the pink links)

I have made a sort of a gallery which is structured like a flash site (main file that loads up separate movies) and it previews fine in Flash but when I insert it in Dreamweaver, it stops working completely. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

You still haven't described what's happening. "Stops working" could mean many things. The movie won't play in Dreamweaver period, you have to preview it in a browser. Other than this, you'll need to be more specific.

We need to see the code you inserted into Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver sometimes puts some funky code in for Flash movies.

When I preview the dreamweaver page which contains the gallery using ie, i can see the gallery but none of the roll-over buttons work ie when i roll over a thumbnail an enlarged image should appear but instead nothing happens.

I have already clicked on the screen to activate the flash element - makes no difference.

No script to post - sorry.

Do you know what i could try to fix the problem?

Thanks :)

Sounds to me like the links and rollovers are improperly coded within Flash. IE will do nothing to stop Flash content from working if you can see the movie.

Does the link Path in Flash go to files on your HD or as they would be on the server. ie C:/files/myfile.html or what they should be files/myfile.html. This would work fine in preview mode with flash but not in IE.

Zip your files and attach them to your post then more people can look and help.

Zip your files up, upload to a server and place the link in this thread.

I have to defer to ryanbutler. I can't get anything to happen when I play the swf. The hand cursor appears but clicking gets no results. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong thing but I see nothing but an Up state action for the buttons.

:)
I have looked at it and added all the states (not just the up one) and it now works fine. It was from a tutorial and so I just presumed that I wouldn't need to do that.

Thanks a lot sticks :) Great help
