I have a video that is 15 minutes long and HUGE and need to have it formatted and reduced in size (by the originator) so that I can post it on my site. I want to just create a link on my website to the video. What is the best way to do this?

well, it could prabably be a flash. you can reduce width and height so you will got it much less weight (in kb or mb) and also manage some video settings for flash
for example you have 320*240 video file (for ex. avi, 4 minuts), which will be about 10 mb.
if you will make it in flash and manage some settings you will got at least 1/2 of the video file.
i got video to flash converter pro for this purpose, this is one of the best soft on market. you can use a simple, they got the same engine, there is free download.

I'd probably do windows media file (wmv) in this case.

I think flv is the best.
