A friend of mine had asked me to work on a site for him that he had purchased a word template from someone. I am currently having trouble with editing it. I attempt to change the background image to another image and change the button image also as said in the help file. Is there something I’m doing wrong? I would like to discard the template if I get a suitable template. The damn thing is just not working.

Post the code and we can probably find the error(s).

Many MS templates are driven by MS schema (styles) that are embedded in the coding by a link. (FrontPage has lots of these.) You might check in the <head> section to see if you are linking to any Microsoft theme files or Microsoft web addresses.

Hi,
I just bumped into a site which has good lot of Word templates. I think the site is http://www.templatesforbusiness.us Their designers have done a marvelous job in creating templates which work wonderfully in Word. While Word itself is not a "graphics program", we have created templates for Word that look like they came from a graphics program!

purchased? (yikes!).
Waaay to much free stuff out there to waste $ on purchasing templates (unless you're buying them from lil' ol' moi! :p ).

But WORD templates... you couldn't GIVE me one.
