Can someone help me with apache?

I'm not good with this myself, I've always had a remote server where I didn't have to mess with this, but I wanted to set up my own server, I installed apache, PHP, and MySQL and everything, and everything works for me when I view it in http://localhost but how do i get it so that others can view it when they use http://my ip? BTW, i'm running Windows XP. :confused:

What versions are you running of each of those...

are you running a firewall, what port are you telling apache to use and are you using any type of Internet connection sharing either via software or router?

What type of connection do you have to the internet.

Apache1.3.23, MySQL3.23.48 and PHP4.1.1. I am using the default Port 80, i turn off my firewall when testing it. I am on cable.
